Novum Underwriting Partners Enters Strategic Partnership with Steadfast Group

Independence, Ohio —Novum Underwriting Partners, a leading specialty underwriting agency and wholesale brokerage, has entered a strategic partnership with Steadfast Group Limited, the largest general insurance broker network in Australasia. Steadfast has acquired a majority stake in Novum, marking a significant milestone in Novum’s growth and positioning the company as Steadfast’s hub for U.S. program development and management.

Founded in 2019, Novum has established itself as a technology-forward underwriting agency through its proprietary Novum Online platform, which streamlines underwriting, quoting, servicing, renewals, and policy management. With the backing of Steadfast, Novum will expand its platform capabilities, enhance wholesale brokerage services, and broaden distribution to serve both the ISU Steadfast broker network and the wider U.S. market.

Novum will serve as a platform and marketplace to support the expansion of select Steadfast-owned underwriting agencies into the U.S. and strengthen access to global markets through its London-based Lloyd’s broker, HWS Specialty. Christopher Longo will remain CEO, and the existing leadership team will continue to guide Novum as it integrates into Steadfast’s global strategy. Together, the partnership sets the stage for sustained innovation, market growth, and enhanced value for brokers and clients alike.
