Under minimal supervision, the position supports the underwriting team in providing efficient and accurate handling of the technical aspects of the underwriting process. Position requires knowledge in Property, GL, Automobile & Excess / Umbrella coverages.
Responsibilities Include
Set up and pre-underwrite new and renewal policies
Ensure underwriting files are complete
Process simple endorsements
Follow up of subjectivities
Market excess casualty submissions
Qualifications
· Interest in advancement
· 2 years of multiline commercial insurance experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
· Ability to provide excellent customer service and develop strong relationships
